  9. This is a fully featured Windows 3.1 MIDI sequencer with a special emphasis
  10. on the needs of General MIDI which  you  will know is the industry standard
  11. used by  MultiMedia applications and hardware.

  13. Procyon started  as  a  request  from  users  for  a  fully  specified MIDI
  14. sequencer which was also affordable. With  the backing of the huge GoldStar
  15. company this is now  a  reality,  together  with  all  kinds of other music
  16. products. More of this later.

  18. You will find the possibility of  pattern  based sequencing a real pleasure
  19. although you can use it  as  an  old  style  track  sequencer if you really
  20. must!!

  22. Using the MIDI ports you are no longer limited to 16 MIDI channels.

  25. extensive help section built into the program.

  27. This demo version is the  'Pro'  sequencer  and  includes a full patch list
  28. system,  SMPTE support, multiple  MIDI  ports,  multi-track recording, drum
  29. grid editing a nd score  display,  editing  and  printout  - plus a load of
  30. extra features like 100 tracks and  a  'motorized' MIDI mixer. Only save is
  31. disabled in the demo version.

  33. Hardware requirements

  35. You must have at least Windows 3.1,  386  16Mhz or better, DOS 5 or higher,
  36. a hard disk and at least 2Mb  of  RAM  and  a MIDI interface or sound card.
  37. For the SMPTE facilities your MIDI interface must support this feature.
