"Procyon" fully featured Windows 3.1 MIDI sequencer
Welcome to the world of Procyon brought to you by one of the largest
electronic companies in the world, Copyright (c) 1993, 1994 by GoldStar Co.
Ltd. All rights reserved. Program copyright (c) 1993, 1994 by Richard Watts

This is a fully featured Windows 3.1 MIDI sequencer with a special emphasis
on the needs of General MIDI which you will know is the industry standard
used by MultiMedia applications and hardware.
Procyon started as a request from users for a fully specified MIDI
sequencer which was also affordable. With the backing of the huge GoldStar
company this is now a reality, together with all kinds of other music
products. More of this later.
You will find the possibility of pattern based sequencing a real pleasure
although you can use it as an old style track sequencer if you really
must!!
Using the MIDI ports you are no longer limited to 16 MIDI channels.
You will find all the information you need to run to program in the
extensive help section built into the program.
This demo version is the 'Pro' sequencer and includes a full patch list
system, SMPTE support, multiple MIDI ports, multi-track recording, drum
grid editing a nd score display, editing and printout - plus a load of
extra features like 100 tracks and a 'motorized' MIDI mixer. Only save is
disabled in the demo version.
Hardware requirements
You must have at least Windows 3.1, 386 16Mhz or better, DOS 5 or higher,
a hard disk and at least 2Mb of RAM and a MIDI interface or sound card.
For the SMPTE facilities your MIDI interface must support this feature.
And that's not all...
Don't miss the GoldStar GMK-49, a 49 note velocity MIDI controller keyboard
loaded with features and at an affordable price.
The GS1000R is an external MIDI sound module with built in reverberation
and effects. A serial connector allows connection to RS232 on a PC or MAC.
A software driver is supplied for the PC.
For the keyboard enthusiast try the new GoldStar S230 keyboard, a low cost
61 note keyboard with 128 built in General MIDI sounds, easy play
facilities and expander mode to play from your computer. Details from your
distributor.
